The founders of the prestigious T.O.C recognized many years ago that smaller aerobatic models made to emulate their full size aircraft counterparts should be permitted some deviations from scale to best perform aerobatic maneuvers. Full size aircraft and models fly under vastly different moments of inertia, wing loadings, speed, reynold’s numbers etc. Over Quique’s many years of experience in aerobatic competition, both F3A and the T.O.C., he has perhaps amassed the most knowledge and developed the best skills of any modeler world wide in knowing the exact changes to make designing and developing semi-scale aerobatic models. Our airplanes will simply amaze you with their performance!

This is a high performance but easy to fly ARF. Good for you to learn and practice all 3-D maneuvers. Quick, simple to build for outstanding outside performance in light winds. After all it is a Somenized TM  Yak-54.

The E-yak-54 has been designed by Quique Somenzini based on his foamy Yak-54F that he flew at ETOC 2004. This airplane is fully built up balsa, airfoiled wing and expertly covered to reproduce in transparent colors the scheme of Quique’s Yak-54. We offer this airplane as an ARF kit or with the power unit that includes motor, speed control, gear box, propeller and spinner. The kit requires minimum work to assemble. It also includes an assembly manual, flying manual, hardware and decals.

Due to the airfoiled wing, the E-Yak-54 becomes a strong outdoor performer with unique tracking and very predictable stalls. With the large wing area and low weight it also does best at indoor. Coming from Quique we could not expect less than to do both 3D aerobatic as well as precision. The E-Yak-54 will do what ever you ask from it. The brushless motor with similar technology as the top brands, develops tremendous power combined with the gear box provided. Propeller and safety spinner are also included. The 15 amp speed controller will give solid performance with nice throttle response and trouble-free operation. The E-Yak-54 is an electric 3D aerobatic airplane that will give you the most fun time ever!
